Chaos Rising

ME4 · May 2026

Ninja Spinner centres on Mega Greninja ex — a fan-favourite finally elevated to the ME era's signature rarity. The EN edition, Chaos Rising, launched in May 2026 with a full 7-card SAR pool.

Ninja Spinner (M4) was the Mega set fans had been waiting for since the format launched: Mega Greninja ex as the headline pull. The JP release on 13 March 2026 sold out rapidly in Japan, with secondary market prices for the Mega Greninja SAR (120/086) climbing steeply in the first 48 hours. The set takes a darker, kinetic aesthetic compared to ME3's geometric restraint — the Ninja theming means fast movement, ink-splash backgrounds, and a palette built around black, deep green and fluorescent orange. The surprise SAR inclusions were Cinccino (117/086) and the two Trainer SARs: AZ's Tranquility — depicting the tragic king of Kalos with his Floette — and Roxie's Performance. Chaos Rising (EN) arrived 22 May 2026 with an expanded roster.

Chase Pulls

Mega Greninja ex SAR
Mega Greninja exSAR
JP 120/086·EN TBA

Mega Greninja ex SAR (120/086) is the headline pull of Ninja Spinner — the top-numbered card in the JP set and the most anticipated Mega SAR since Charizard X. The Water/Dark typing of Greninja combined with its Mega form — long bladed protrusions, the scarf of condensed water — gives illustrators exceptional dramatic material. The SAR leans fully into speed and shadow, consistent with the Ninja Spinner theme. Secondary market pricing is still establishing as the EN edition settles post-release.

Price TBA
Mega Floette ex SAR
Mega Floette exSAR
JP 115/086·EN TBA

Mega Floette ex SAR (115/086) is the most emotionally loaded card in ME4 — Floette's eternal flower and its connection to AZ's storyline in Pokémon X/Y gives this card deep lore underpinning. The SAR pairs Mega Floette with the connected AZ's Tranquility card (118/086), creating a two-card narrative arc within the set. A Fairy/Grass Mega in a Chaos-themed set is a deliberate aesthetic contrast: luminous and delicate against the set's darker backdrop. Pricing still settling.

Price TBA
Mega Dragalge ex SAR
Mega Dragalge exSAR
JP 116/086·EN TBA

Mega Dragalge ex SAR (116/086) is the set's secondary Mega pull — the Poison/Dragon sea horse in its expanded Mega form. Dragalge's sinuous, deep-ocean design suits the SAR full-art format well: expect a bioluminescent deep-water composition consistent with the Ninja Spinner aesthetic. Dragalge has a niche but dedicated collector following from the Kalos generation; pricing still settling.

Price TBA
Cinccino SAR
CinccinoSAR
JP 117/086·EN TBA

Cinccino SAR (117/086) is the set's breakout non-Mega pull — a small, charming Pokémon elevated to SAR rarity in a set dominated by Mega evolutions. SAR Cinccino cards have historically surprised on the upside in terms of secondary market demand: the contrast between the modest base Pokémon and the full-art treatment creates novelty value. Pricing still establishing.

AZ's Tranquility SAR
AZ's TranquilitySAR
JP 118/086·EN TBA

AZ's Tranquility SAR (118/086) depicts the immortal king of Kalos alongside his Floette — one of the most beloved side-stories in Pokémon lore. The card pairs narratively with Mega Floette ex SAR (115/086): AZ is the reason Floette's Mega form was created, and the two SARs together tell a complete emotional story. Trainer SARs with this level of narrative weight tend to appreciate steadily; AZ has a particularly devoted following among long-term fans of the X/Y era.

Roxie's Performance SAR
Roxie's PerformanceSAR
JP 119/086·EN TBA

Roxie's Performance SAR (119/086) gives the Virbank City Gym Leader and punk-rock musician her first SAR treatment. Roxie's design — guitar, punk aesthetic, high-energy performance — is exceptionally well-suited to the full-art SAR format. The card is expected to attract demand from Unova fans and collectors who follow music-themed Pokémon TCG art. Pricing still settling.

Price TBA
Mega Greninja ex SR
Mega Greninja exSR
JP 114/086·EN TBA

Mega Greninja ex SR (114/086) is the standard full-art Super Rare treatment — the lower-numbered and more accessible version of the headline Pokémon compared to the SAR (120/086). The SR format gives collectors an entry point into ME4's Mega Greninja cards at a more approachable price while sharing the same character. Pricing still settling.

Edition Notes

🇯🇵
Ninja Spinner
M4 · Mar 2026

Ninja Spinner (M4) is an 86-card Japanese base set expanding to 120 cards with SR and SAR slots. The SAR pool runs 114–120/086: Mega Greninja ex SR (114), Mega Floette ex SAR (115), Mega Dragalge ex SAR (116), Cinccino SAR (117), AZ's Tranquility SAR (118), Roxie's Performance SAR (119), and Mega Greninja ex SAR (120) as the top pull. JP copies of the Mega Greninja ex SAR were in significant demand at launch; the thinner JP holo stock gives the SAR a distinctive finish that many collectors prefer to the EN version.

🌍
Chaos Rising
ME4 · May 2026

Chaos Rising (ME4) expanded the JP 120-card roster with additional EN-exclusive slots, including new UR and SIR tiers not present in the JP print. EN card numbering diverges past 120. The EN edition saw broader distribution than the JP print, which means EN copies are generally more accessible — but JP Mega Greninja ex SAR has maintained a premium on the JP market.
